Why choose aluminum, steel or brass?

Our commitment to design is fully reflected in our windows, which combine an extraordinary aesthetic with superior performance, offering impeccable and highly functional furnishing solutions.

These frames are highly durable and durable over time, making them particularly suitable for large cities as a barrier against smog. However, they can be used in any context, provided that they are periodically cleaned with water and neutral detergents.

They are air-resistant and water-resistant, making them suitable even for wet or windy areas. They offer high thermal and acoustic insulation capacity, allowing significant savings in heating and air conditioning costs, and reducing external noise to contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution.

In addition, they can be painted in any RAL color and adapt to any type of construction, both modern and vintage.

  • ALUMINIUM offers a wide range of options for the realization of windows, including different types of opening and dimensions. In addition, it has an excellent quality-price ratio. It is also available in different finishes, including anodized/ oxidized and finishes that mimic wood.
  • STEEL is usually chosen for two reasons: first, for the possibility of creating large openings that are not possible with aluminum, thanks to its greater mechanical strength. Secondly, steel allows the creation of profiles with a very small internal/external frame, which enhances the glazed surface, a highly appreciated aspect in modern design.
  • BRASS, similar to steel, shares many of its characteristics. However, what sets it apart is its nobility as a material. Unlike the steel that must be painted, brass is allowed to follow its maturation and coloring process in a natural way. It is available in several finishes, including polished brass, burnished, satin and a combination of satin and burnished.

Are the materials used in the production of our window frames environmentally sustainable?

Of course. The aluminium, steel and brass used in our doors and windows are 100% recyclable materials.

Double or triple glazed windows?

The choice between double and triple glass depends on several factors. If you are replacing or buying fixtures for the first time, chances are you have heard about both options.

For single-chamber double-glazed or double-glazed windows, reference is made to a configuration in which two sheets of glass are separated by an air space that forms a chamber. The triple glazed windows, instead, consist of three windows separated by two air chambers, instead of one as in the case of double glazing.

Both solutions offer significant advantages, but it is important to analyze the specific context to determine which option to choose. Some lements to consider before making a decision include:

  • The geographical position
  • The thickness of the walls;
  • The exposure of the rooms outside.

These factors can affect the thermal and acoustic insulation requirements, as well as the energy efficiency of the finitures, making it necessary to carefully evaluate the specific conditions before making a choice.

Does the presence of old windows influence the choice of new ones?

If the property to be restored is independent or is not subject to aesthetic restrictions, the only conditions to be considered will be those related to the budget and customer preferences.

However, the situation is different if the property is located in an apartment building. In this case, you will need to contact the administrator to get confirmation on the “color”, “material” or “shape” of the exterior elements of the facade (blinds, shutters and exterior windows), which could be defined in the condominium regulations.

As for the technical aspects, a lot will depend on the way the old frame has been installed (for example, whether it is mounted on a false frame or walled). During the inspection, all possible mounting variants will be examined and these will be discussed with the customer to find the best solution.

Are you able to find a shade of the windows that corresponds to those already existing, considering the constraints imposed by the building?

Of course, we can reproduce any desired color shades. Our assortment offers the customer a wide range of options to choose from, with dozens of color variations and materials available to ensure maximum customization.

Will the new windows allow savings on heating consumption?

What is meant by the word installation?

“Installation” means all the procedures to ensure the effective use of the windows or the doors. These jobs are performed by professionals with the goal of correctly placing a door or a window in the place of destination. The correct “installation” is essential to ensure the technological performance of the windows or doors and to ensure its durability over time. It is useless to buy a high-quality window if the installation is not carried out efficiently, as this would compromise its characteristics and performance.

When and why is condensation created on the windows?

The most common causes of condensation on windows are:

  1. Materials: there may be a contrast between the frame on which windows is installed and the material of the windows itself. In the past, metal frames were widely used, but currently it is advisable to opt for wooden or PVC frames, as they offer better thermal insulation.
  2. Window frames glass: due to various factors, such as geographical location, wall thickness and room exposure, a temperature difference between theinterior and exterior may occur. It is advisable to consult experts to determine the most suitable type of glass to install.
